Milton firefighters have been kept busy in the town’s rural areas this week, with three fires in as many days.

Crews are currently on scene of a boat fire on Conservation Road, west of Twiss Road, in Campbellville.

Heavy black smoke was reportedly seen from Guelph Line as firefighters arrived around 1:25 p.m., with a second line pulled for vehicle exposure control.

There are no reports of injuries or a damage estimate at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

This follows two barn fires in Nassagaweya, the second of which – on 20 Sideroad, just east of Sixth Line Tuesday night – has been deemed suspicious.
