Chicken (right) and Artemis are a bonded pair of seven-year-old cats who came to the shelter after their owner passed away.

Meet Chicken and Artemis, a bonded pair of female kitties who are both turning seven this year!

They came to the shelter because their owner sadly passed away. These two girls were very well loved.

Chicken is a grey and white beauty who can be shy at first but she is sweet and affectionate once she gets to know you. She tends to keep to herself more and loves having a nice quiet spot to nap.

Artemis, an all-white social animal, has a more outgoing personality and is often out and about at the shelter. Despite her being a bit overweight, she likes to climb cat trees and is quite good at jumping. She also loves shoe boxes! Artemis has lost some weight while enjoying weight management food at the shelter.

Chicken and Artemis would be fine as companions to other cats, but not as playmates. If you would like to know more about this sweet duo, please contact the shelter.

To view animals available for adoption, visit the AAF website. Applications to adopt can be found here.

Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, except drop-in times on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m

Or you can fill out an online adoption form: https://anadoptflam.com/cat-kitten-dog-application-form/
