About Us
The Waterdown Lions Club is a vibrant community of dedicated individuals who come together to make a positive impact in our local area. The first Waterdown Lions Club was chartered on March 31, 1938, when the Galt Club presented them with a Gavel. By 1940 some dissension arose and some members were given associate status due to war enlistment. The club gave up its charter in 1942.
In 1967, the club was again chartered, and stands to this day. Our club has a rich history of service, fellowship, and charitable initiatives that have touched the lives of countless people.
Giving Back to the Community
At the Waterdown Lions Club, we believe in the power of collective action to drive meaningful change. By pooling our resources and talents, we are able to tackle a wide range of community issues, from supporting local food banks to organizing youth programs and fundraising for important causes.
Connecting with Others
Our club provides a platform for individuals to come together, share ideas, and collaborate on initiatives that make a difference. Whether you’re looking to network, volunteer, or simply be part of a supportive community, the Waterdown Lions Club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where you can make a real impact.
