National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day, is held Sept. 30

FlamboroughToday received the following letter on the possibility of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation becoming a holiday.

I feel Ontario has the correct idea keeping children in school and educating them on the scoops and the schools.

I remember as a child and teen we did Remembrance Day in school, did not treat it as a holiday to celebrate.
