The Waterdown RONA Home and Garden store has been undergoing upgrades this summer, and will officially reopen as a RONA+ this week.
A "board-cutting" ceremony is planned for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday (Aug. 1), and will include members of the store team along with members of the RONA executive leadership and local dignitaries.
According to a press release issued by the company, the conversion of the former Home & Garden RONA Waterdown to the new RONA+ banner is part of a wider plan aimed at redefining how Canadians shop for home improvement and represents a significant local investment. Through this conversion, the company is looking to build on the strong legacy of the RONA brand and build momentum for this beloved Canadian-operated household name.
As part of the relaunch, a number of special activities are planned at the store from Aug. 1 to 7, including a special event complete with kids’ workshops, food and entertainment on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Additional promotions include gift cards for customers who purchase $100 or more, a free bucket for the first 150 customers, and pro events throughout the week.
