Holiday sales are in full swing this weekend in Flamborough.

If you're not in the holiday spirit yet, look out: it's coming on strong this weekend with plenty of bazaars and community sales. Ready, set, shop!

Friday, Nov. 15

Waterdown Legion Fish Fry, 79 Hamilton St. N.

Dinner is served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. One-piece diner $14, Two piece diner $17 (HST incl.) All dinners include haddock, fries and cole slaw.Eat in or take out, cash only. Walk-ins welcome. Order online at www.waterdownlegion.ca. Entertainment by Mike Hubley - KoundryFryd Music.

Saturday, Nov. 16

Waterdown Handmade Market, Harry Howell Arena, 27 Hwy. 5 W.

Sale runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free admission. Featuring 35 vendors, Local handmade items, face painting for the kids! Animal adoptions Flamborough will be there raising money for the shelter. 

Art Show & Sale, Waterdown Seniors Centre, 163 Dundas St. E.

An exhibition and sale of work by the Westover Artists, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Something for everyone: oils, acrylics, water colours, pastels, mixed media - in a range of subject matters. 

Kilbride Makers Market, Kilbride United Church, 2066 Kilbride St.

Sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Over 23 vendors, raffles, fresh greens and breakfast and lunch served up by the Kilbride firefighters. 

Christmas Market, Grace Anglican Church, 157 Mill St. N., Waterdown

Sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Home baking, silent auction, vintage sale, gift basket raffle, Christmas Cafe, Wheelbarow 'o Wine raff and much more Admissin is $2. 

Waterdown Legion Christmas Craft Show, 79 Hamilton St. N.

Runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 30 vendors, free admission and parking; please bring a donation of a non-perishable item for the Flamborough Food Bank.  

Live music, Waterdown Legion, 79 Hamilton St. N.

This week, Cheap Thrills plays music from the ‘60s to today - Beatles, disco, Doobie Brothers and more. From 8 p.m. to midnight. $5 cover, please bring along a donation for the food bank.

Sunday, Nov. 17

Holiday Craft Fair, John Bayus Park, 1429 Sheffield Road

Sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Take a photo with Santa, have a snack or get some shopping done for Christmas. It will be a great day out. Support our seniors at John Bayus Park. Free Admission.
