Saturday, Feb. 22
Coldest Night of the Year, Memorial Park, Waterdown
Event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Sign up to walk in CNOY and raise funds for the accessible mental health services and family supports provided by Eagles Nest. Every $50 raised provides someone in the community with 1 hour of mental health support. Walk is 2km or 5km, with rest stops at Jitterbug Cafe and Tea at the White House. Sunday, Feb. 23
Affirming Ceremony, St. James United Church, 306 Parkside Dr., Waterdown
The Community is Invited as St. James is recognized as an Affirming Church at 3 p.m. The ceremony includes a worship service, prayer and scripture reading, a guest speaker and a celebratory reception. All welcome.
Maple Syrup Season at Westfield Heritage Village, 1049 Kirkwall Rd., Rockton
Program runs Sundays, Feb. 23, March 2, 9, 16, and 23 and on Wednesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 13 (March Break). Time slots are available starting at 10 a.m., with the last one available at 2 p.m. The program closes at 4 p.m. Reservations required.
