Drummond Farms is hoping to take a big, crisp bite out of hunger, with a special event this Saturday.
Oct. 5 is McIntosh Madness at the 69 5th Concession E. orchard. There will be live music, delicious food and a makers' market running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A children's author will also be featured, with a live reading at 1 p.m.
Of course, there will be delicious, freshly picked apples available for purchase - and for every 10 lb of McIntosh applies sold, Drummond Farms will donate 10 lb of apples to the Flamborough Food Bank.
