Local residents shoveled out from Saturday night's snowfall in time for a Valentine's Day-themed concert Sunday afternoon at Carlisle United Church.
The event featured the talents of choir director Heather Olaveson on piano and soprano Sarah Shelley, who met back when they were eight years old.
Snacks were served up by volunteers at intermission and the music was followed by a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the church.
