Local families got in a practice run for Halloween at Saturday's Treat and Pet Walk hosted by the Waterdown Village BIA.
Businesses throughout the downtown core gave out candy, while the BIA organized activities such as the Pet Parade, the Monster Pit and the Legion of Heroes, with plenty of fun to go around.
