The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of their breach of Statutory Release.
Derek Oppong is described as a Black male, 30 years of age , 6'0" (183cm), 194 lbs (88kg) with black hair and brown eyes.
Derek Oppong is serving a 10 year, 1 day sentence for:
- Unauthorized Possession / Firearm
- Kidnap - Unlawfully Confine - Firearm
- Extortion - Use Firearm
- Commission of Offence for Criminal Organization
- Possession of Firearm Knowing Unauthorized
- Possession Weapon Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Forcible Confinement
The offender is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area
