The Royal Botanical Gardens prepare for Fall with displays of gourds and pumpkins.

Take a walk on the spooky side this month as the Great Pumpkin Trail returns to the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) for nights of family fun, treats and entertainment.

Visitors can explore the one-kilometre trail by following hundreds of jack-o-lanterns that light the way through Hendrie Park, enjoy live campfire music performed by Mo Guzman, see the roaming entertainers and watch the Forever in Flame fire performances that take place three times per night.

Attendees are also encouraged to dress up in costume to take part in the Halloween festivities.

The RBG is also hosting an After Dark version of the Great Pumpkin Trail, an adult-only evening complete with food and drinks, seasonal activities and music from Hamilton musician DJ Jooce.

The Great Pumpkin Trail will be open from Friday, Oct. 18 to Sunday, Oct. 20 and Friday, Oct. 25 to Sunday Oct. 27. The After Dark Pumpkin Trail will take place on Thursday, Oct. 24.

Tickets are timed and cost $27 for adults and $20 for children.
