Making a clothing donation to support Eagles Nest Waterdown just got easier.

The charity has launched a pilot program at the HOPE Centre at 606 Dundas St. E., with two bins to collect gently used clothing items. One is located outside the front entrance and one is at the building's lower entrance.

The clothing will be sold through Eagles Nest's thrift store, Rescued & Restored, at 248 Freelton Rd. All proceeds from donations fund counselling, coaching and support programs that are available to the community at low cost.

Donors are asked to place clothing in a bag before dropping off at the donation bin. The bins are for clothing only; those who want to donate other items (such as furniture, home decor items or books) can do so by appointment at Freelton location.
