The Waterdown District High School senior boys battled to a 37-27 win over Westmount Secondary School Thursday to tie up the top spot in the HWIAC football standings.
Pod A rivals Waterdown, Westdale and Westmount are tied for first place, with four wins and one loss each. In Pod B, Saltfleet is in first place with a 3-2 record, while Sherwood is in the Pod C top spot with four wins and no losses.
Quarter-finals are slated to begin next week.
