Surrounded by her loving family, Joan passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in her 65th year.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 43 years, Ken Beaudoin, and a lifetime of cherished memories. Joan’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a beloved mother to Troy Beaudoin (Gioia), Traci Moon (Chris), Shaun Beaudoin (Tricia), and Mathew Beaudoin (Laura). Her heart overflowed with love for her treasured grandbabies: Lincoln, Sylus, Carter, Jaxon, Brooklyn, Skylar, Chase, Annika, Noah, Jacob, and Alexandra—her greatest blessings and proudest legacy. Joan was a dear sister to Allan, the late Harold (Jackie), Jim (Wendy), Lynn, Murray (late Gail), and Wayne (Wendy), and a beloved sister-in-law to Linda (late Ray), Nancy (Everett), Joanne, and the late Charles and Reid (Karen). She will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Joan found joy in the simple pleasures of life—gardening, sewing alongside her sister and best friend, Lynn, and sharing laughter with her friends in their weekly bowling league at Burlington Bowl. She was especially known for her love of baking, a passion she passed down to her grandbabies, and was famous for her butter tarts, a treat enjoyed by all who knew her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff, nurses, and doctors at Joseph Brant Hospital for their compassionate care.
