It is with the utmost sadness and a broken heart that I announce the death of my beloved sister and best friend Brenda Greenland. To have had her as a sister has been one of my greatest joys in life, and I will forever miss her dearly. Know that you are loved as you soar with the Angels. I love you.
Predeceased by her parents Fred and Laveen Greenland. Survived by her sister Debbie Baker and favourite brother-in-law Peter Baker, brother Brian Greenland (Sue), nieces Becky-Lynn Morrison (Don), Robin-Lea Greenland (Dan), Penny Russell (Darren), and great-nieces and nephew D.J. Morrison (Meaghan), Taylor Parker (Bradley), Celeste Greenland (Jake), and Ashley Greenland.
Brenda leaves behind a love for her animals; her horse Thia, her dog Salsa, and her two cats Riley and Chirp. She will miss her barn family, breakfast club, Christian Women’s Connection, Single Ladies Club, and all her wonderful friends who have helped and supported her along the way.
She will miss her favourite pew at her beloved Millgrove Church and all the “village people”, home to our family for over 100 years.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at MILLGROVE UNITED CHURCH, 370 Concession 5 W., Millgrove on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
At a later date Brenda will be laid to rest in peace beside her parents and grandparents at Millgrove Cemetery.
“I will join you there someday, so until then hug Mom and Dad for me” – Love your Sister.
