Peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025 Ruth passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington in her 99th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband James (June 2014) after 70 years of marriage. Predeceased by her sisters Frances (Cliff), Eleanor (Bill), and her brother James (Ann); and her grandson Jeffery. Loving mother of Bob (Elaine), Tom (Nancy), John (deceased 2024) (Anne), and Earl (Sharon). Proud Grandma to 8 grandchildren; Great-Grandma to 8 and Great-Great Grandma (G3) to 1.
Ruth was a volunteer with Joseph Brant Hospital for over 25 years.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 2 p.m. until the start of a Funeral Service at 3 p.m. followed with a reception. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
