With broken hearts we announce that on Saturday January 11th, 2025 Gerry unexpectedly passed away at home in Millgrove. Called to his last post.
Born in Hamilton on October 15th, 1959, to Michael (deceased) and Ella. Predeceased by his older brother, Michael Joseph, and survived by his sisters, Susan, Teresa and Kathleen. Loved by his nieces and nephews Ryan (deceased) and Danielle, Kieran, Devin and Abbey. Remembered by his friend Kiwi, the cat.
Gerry had a love for music and sports, but his greatest achievement was his service to our country. Gerry joined the Armed forces in 1980 and proudly served 26 years, stationed in many parts of the world. Upon his retirement, Gerry settled in London, Ontario, then moved home to help care for his parents.
Friends are welcome to visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 3 p.m. until the start of a Memorial Service at 4 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
