It is with sadness we announce the passing of Mary Taylor just a few weeks after her 100th birthday. She passed peacefully at the Branford General Hospital on Friday, November 8, 2024. Predeceased by her beloved husband Morley, and her son David. Loving mother of Dennis, and Gordon (Sue). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tricia and her daughter Raya, Jeff (Carmen) and their children; Ben and Lauren, Dave (Jenna) and their children; Matthew and Charlotte. Survived by her sisters Shirley and Joyce.

Mary was a longtime resident of Carlisle and a faithful member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Freelton for many years, enjoying her time being a part of the church choir and helping out. Her last few years were spent living at Chartwell Tranquility Place in Brantford, where she kept living independently and made many new friends. Mary especially enjoyed the Spring season and spent countless hours in her garden. Most importantly was her big heart. Mary was always thinking of others, ways to help out, giving what she could and sharing with others. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and Mary has been laid to rest in the family plot at Hamilton Cemetery. If desired, in her memory, a donation to the Flamborough Food Bank or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
