Peacefully on February 18, 2025 Ralph was called Home by his Lord and Saviour, in his 90th year. He was predeceased by his loving wife Cornelia “Corry” (nee Weststeyn). He is loved and remembered by his children and grandchildren, Henry and Julie Vos of Carlisle (Daniel, Helena, and Nathan) and Lisa and William Vander Wilp of Kingston (Edward, Timothy, and Erika). He will be missed by his sisters Jakoba Hendrikje Berends-Vos (predeceased), Hendrikje Hemmes-Vos, and Klasiena Hamming-Vos.

Ralph was born in Noordlaren in the Netherlands. Despite growing up during WWII he enjoyed the village and the surrounding farms and countryside. After training as an auto mechanic, Ralph moved to Canada. He met and married his love, Corry, and started his own garage. After the births of Henry and Lisa, Ralph transitioned from auto work to full time farming while still servicing his own machines and vehicles as much as he could. Ralph will be remembered by his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and church community.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 23 from 2-4 p.m. at BETHEL CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 616 Dundas Street East, Waterdown where the Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11 a.m. A private Interment Service will be held beforehand at Bethel Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Providence Christian School or Quinte Region Christian Schools would be appreciated. Please sign the Tribute Wall at kitchingsteepeandludwig.com
