Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in his 82nd year, after dealing with dementia for several years. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Bell) for 62 years. Loved father of Tom (Nancy Proctor) of Barrie, and Deb (Joe Johnson) of Waterdown. Proud grandfather of Shannon of Port McNichol. Dear brother of Barry Wild and Kathy Siefried. Uncle of Tyler, Kelly, Star and Wade. Many thanks to dear friends Larry and Darlene Baker for all of their help and support.
Bill worked hard all his life and played hard too. He was a creative and talented builder who could fix almost anything. Bill was a longtime member of the Waterdown Legion as well as the Waterdown Sportsman’s Club. He was a car enthusiast and an avid deer hunter. Bill enjoyed spending many hours with his beloved dogs, Shane being the most recent.
