Hamilton Police arrested a 27 year-old man for firearm-related charges over the weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 16, Hamilton Police responded to reports of a male inside a dwelling on Somerset Avenue in possession of a firearm.
After a short interaction with police, the male exited the dwelling. A loaded firearm was recovered in the suspect’s vehicle.
The male is facing the following charges:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a prohibited loaded firearm
- Unsafe storage
