A four-year member of the Waterloo Regional Police Service has been charged by the Hamilton Police Service in connection to an off-duty incident.
On January 11, 2025, the member was arrested and charged with two counts of Assault and two counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking in connection to incidents that occurred in Hamilton between May 27, 2024, and January 1, 2025.
The member is scheduled to appear in Hamilton’s Ontario Court of Justice on February 7, 2025.
The member has been suspended without pay per the requirements of the Community Safety and Policing Act of Ontario.
Any questions regarding the charges should be directed to the Hamilton Police Service.
The member was previously charged on June 17, 2024, with two separate counts of Assault in connection to an incident that occurred on June 1, 2024, in Toronto. The member is scheduled to appear in Toronto’s Ontario Court of Justice on January 15, 2025, in relation to these charges.
