On Feb. 18, officers were dispatched to a business in the area of Barton Street East and Lottridge Street in the City of Hamilton for a report of a male overdosing.
Upon arrival, the officers quickly assessed the situation and administered Naloxone (Narcan) to the unconscious male. Within minutes, the male was revived and back on his feet.
Upon learning his identity, the officers discovered that he was violating some of the court ordered conditions that had been placed upon him. He was subsequently arrested, and the following items were located during a search of his belongings:
- 23.1 grams of fentanyl
- 137 dextroamphetamine pills (ADHD medication)
- Silver Colt Pellet gun, loaded with 12 steel pellets
- A quantity of money that is indicative of trafficking drugs
The 33-year-old male from Hamilton was charged with the following:
- fail to comply with release order x3
- possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
- possession for the purpose of trafficking – other
- proceeds of crime under $5,000.00
