A Hamilton woman has been arrested in connection with the theft early last year of more than 200 cosmetics items from a Guelph business.
According to the Guelph Police Service, on April 16, 2024, two women entered a business near Speedvale Avenue and Woolwich Street. While one acted as look-out and blocked the other from cameras, her friend concealed approximately 230 cosmetics items. The stolen items had a total value of almost $3,800.
Police say that their investigation led to one of the suspects being identified. On Tuesday a 33-year-old Hamilton woman was arrested for theft under $5,000.
