Waterdown Collision is crashing into the holiday season with a smash hit: their second annual 12 Days of Christmas Toy Drive.

The premise behind the idea is simple: when we all give, everyone wins. Monday to Friday, from now until December 18, drop off a new unwrapped toy to Waterdown Collision and be entered in the daily prize draw for that day, as well as the grand prize draw, happening December 18.

All the toys will be delivered to the CHCH Christmas Toy Drive, and then on to the Hamilton Optimist club to be delivered throughout the city.

Toy donors can win fantastic prizes, donated by incredible businesses in the area.

"Thanks to the support of local participating businesses, we have some amazing prizes for the community when they drop off a new unwrapped toy,” enthused Nadia Mamone, Business Development and Insurance Relations.

Draw prizes for the next several days include a gift basket and free toys for a year from Ren’s Pets, a holiday door sign by Finn and Co., a Stihl chainsaw from Galer Equipment, dinner for four from The Keg Waterdown, one night’s stay at Somerset Cottage from West Avenue Cider, and a whole prime rib roast from Beverly Creek.

December 16, the prize is a VIP car wash membership or $500 in self-serve from Red Hill Car Wash. December 17, you could win an Adirondack chair and planter from Hickory Dickory Decks.

The grand prize, being drawn on December 18, is dinner for ten, a festive front porch planter and a Kind Matter Company gift basket, donated by Fortino’s, Terra Greenhouses, and Kind Matter.

The dinner for ten includes two boneless turkey breasts, two trays of Carvery side dishes, large salad, buns, and a cannoli platter. It also includes gravy and cranberry sauce, all courtesy of Fortino’s.

New unwrapped toys can be dropped off Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., until December 18, to Waterdown Collision, 24 Dundas St. E., Waterdown.

Domenic DiFelice, Marketing and Public Relations, finished, "Our goal behind this toy drive was to find a way where we as a community could all give back to those in need but also find a way to put an exciting twist on it. Good luck to everyone participating!”
