Get ready to “Journey” back to the golden era of arena rock as GRAND EVOLUTION hits the stage at the Georgian Theatre in Barrie.

GRAND EVOLUTION plays tribute to two of the biggest names from the 70s and 80s – Journey and Styx – with a high-energy act in support of Make-A-Wish Canada.

Journey’s work in the 70s and 80s helped define the sound of arena rock – the band’s soaring melodies, wild guitar riffs, and Steve Perry’s spine-tingling falsetto on hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “Any Way You Want It” and “Wheel in the Sky” have been captivating audiences for nearly five decades.

Styx – with their distinctive blend of roaring anthems and delicate piano ballads – became the first band to release four consecutive triple-platinum albums: “The Grand Illusion” in 1977, “Pieces of Eight” (1978), “Cornerstone” (1979) and “Paradise Theatre” (1981.)

Hits like “Come Sail Away” and “Mr. Roboto” have been in constant circulation on classic rock radio and on numerous party playlists for years.
GRAND EVOLUTION captures the soul, pomp and swagger of the rock titans, all for a good cause.

Make-A-Wish Canada is an organization dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

When a wish is granted, it goes beyond creating a moment of joy – it empowers children to replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. Research shows that wishes have a profound impact on a child's treatment journey, helping them build the physical and emotional strength needed to fight their illness.
