Highway 8 between Studimand Road and Safari Road was closed for several hours Wednesday night as Hamilton fire crews battled a barn fire.
The Burlington detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were on scene around 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 6, to close Highway 8 from Studimand Road to Safari Road. The OPP stated in a Tweet that the road was closed for a barn fire.

The OPP announced the road was reopened around 11 p.m.
