Flamborough Falcons Winter Chill Tournament
Hundreds of hockey players will be hitting the ice across Flamborough, Ancaster and Dundas this weekend for the Flamborough Girls Hockey Association's Winter Chill Tournament. The round-robin games kick off Friday and will be played at local arenas Saturday. Playoff rounds take place Sunday.Details, including teams, schedules and more, can be found on the FGHA website.
Winterlit, Mountsberg Conservation Area, 2259 Milburough Line, Campbellville
Conservation Halton's popular Winterlit program continues on weekend evenings through January and February, when visitors can enjoy a moonlit stroll along two different trails featuring sustainably sourced, illuminated art installations. The program runs Friday through Sunday between Jan. 10 and Feb. 17 (Feb. 14 excluded). Two-hour time slots are available with start times every 10 minutes between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. The cost for Conservation Halton members is $16 per adult or $14 per child or senior; for non-members the cost is $22 per adult and $19 per child or senior.
