Monday afternoon was perfect for a skate, and dozens of families turned up at Memorial Park to hit the ice.
With Christmas just two days away, some parents were out with the kids while their other half finished up shopping for the holiday.
Other families were at the ice loop to skate for the first time this year, to teach their little ones how to skate and burn off some energy. Some Flamborough Sabres players showed their skills, while others got their balance.
On the other side of the park, the tobogganing hills were open for even more family fun.
With the weather at -4C most of the afternoon and more snow on the forecast this week, Waterdown and the rest of Flamborough are looking at a white Christmas this year.
