Local volunteers are cooking up a very special event on Nov. 30, with a very special guest.
Members of the Flamborough AM Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Waterdown and the Waterdown Legion have teamed up to host Breakfast With Santa. The jolly old elf will be stopping by for a hearty meal to get ready for a spin around town in the Flamborough Santa Claus Parade later in the evening.
The menu includes pancakes, of course, along with meats provided by Harrington Lane Farms.
In addition to a delicious breakfast, there will be face painting, crafts and holiday-themed activities, as well as photos with Sant.
And it’s all for a good cause, as proceeds from the event support 33 students who benefit from the Food 4 Kids program in Waterdown schools
Breakfast with Santa takes place Saturday, Nov. 30 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Waterdown Legion (79 Hamilton St. N.). Advance tickets are on sale now, with special pricing: $40 per family of four, $12.50 per adult and $10 per child. They can also be purchased at the door: $50 per family, $15 per adult, $12.50 per child.
