The city has narrowed down the search to name 10 snow plows and it wants residents to vote on their favourites.
The city’s transportation department has narrowed the options down to 20 finalists, with names like Sleetwood Mac, Scoop Dogg, Don’t Flurry Be Happy and The Blizzard of Oz.
The city maintains over 6,500 kilometres of roadway with its 115 snowplows every year, including rural roads in Flamborough. Past Name the Plow winners include Plowabunga, Snowmoni Lawrence and Hamboni.
The city has an interactive map that allows residents to follow the plow progress.
Vote for your favourite plow pun here. Voting ends Jan. 5 and the winners will be announced on Jan. 13.
