The driver of a farm tractor was trapped inside the vehicle after power lines fell on the truck around 3:30 p.m.
Derry Road between McNiven and Guelph was closed as the driver waited for Burlington Hydro to confirm the power lines had been turned off. Burlington Fire Department was also called to the scene.
The driver is not injured.
Derry Road was closed between McNiven Road and Guelph Line.
Kilbride residents, and others in the area could see Bell, Cogeco and hydro outages, as a result.
