It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Victoria Anne Harvie of Waterdown, on the 23rd of June, 2024, shortly after 70th birthday. Victoria now sits in awe at the feet of her saviour Jesus!

Victoria will be fondly remembered by admired big brother John Devins (late Katherine), her niece Melanie Shields (Timothy), her great nephews, Tré and Xavier and her great niece Kalora. Victoria will also be lovingly missed by her cousin and "honourary sister" Peggy Vidoczy (Jim) as well as their sons, Simon and Evan. Victoria will also be dearly missed by her many cousins, bluegrass friends of the Kellett family, her church families, close friends and neighbours.

Ms. Harvie loved her sister Shawnne and brother Kirk Harvie and was predeceased by her parents Rowean Kellett and George "Bud" Harvie. Victoria Harvie was a mother twice over to two grown sons Jeffrey Freeman and Duane Brown. She loved these boys very much and often spoke of their talents and accomplishments with pride and hope. She also leaves behind a beautiful granddaughter Avree Brown whom Nanna Vicki adored and spoke of often yearningly.

Victoria Anne was first and foremost a faithful daughter to her Papa God. She took part in many congregations in the Hamilton area as well as fitting in like a glove in others when travelling. She would join many prayer groups and often pray for friends and strangers alike as Jesus calls us to do. She would always offer words of encouragement to any and all who were willing to listen and closed most calls with a prayer that made our relationship feel that much more blessed. Her God-given talents for writing and speaking were not wasted as she journaled daily and prayed aloud like a voice from the Heavens. Her desire to serve was infectious, causing many to follow in her footsteps, making their own footprints in the sand. She is certainly being carried by our Lord.

May Aunt Victoria rest in peace, free of physical and emotional pain, in the beautiful peaceful hues of Heaven.
