Burlington senior, 94, killed in Dundas Street crash

Collision occurred Tuesday afternoon at Walker's Line, say Halton police

Halton Police are investigating a fatal collision at Dundas Street and Walker's Line Tuesday afternoon.

On October 15, 2024 at approximately 3:08pm Halton Police responded to a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Dundas Street and Walkers Line in the City of Burlington. A red Jeep Wrangler was travelling eastbound on Dundas Street when it collided with a grey Ford Focus that was westbound and turning left from Dundas Street onto Walkers Line. The passenger of the Ford Focus, a 94 year old Burlington resident was transported to an out of region trauma centre and later died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has assumed carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses who have not spoken to police are requested to contact investigators at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
