At 5 p.m. - Halton Regional Police say the road has reopened. They thanked residents for their patience as "police were investigating a suspicious package found in the roadway. It has been determined not dangerous."
Hamilton Police have closed Dundas Street East between Evans Road and Guelph Line in Burlington for an investigation.
