Hamilton Police are looking to identify the following suspects in relation to an early morning arson which occurred at Peace Memorial Park located at 86 East 36th Street in the City of Hamilton.
On Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025 at 12:20 a.m, two suspects were observed approaching an encampment at Peace Memorial Park. The suspects proceeded to light a “Roman candle” style firework and point the firework at a tent. This set off a flammable projectile which caused the tent to ignite. No injuries occurred as the tent was believed to be unoccupied.
The suspects fled westbound on foot. Both are described as having a slender build, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, dark pants, and each wearing a side satchel bag. One suspect had white shoes while the other had dark shoes.
