Fall craft sales are underway - including the Loaves and Wishes bazaar this weekend at St. James United Church.

A new month means new fun things to explore around Flamborough. Here are a few ideas on the events calendar this weekend.

Friday, Nov. 1

YFC Gala and Game Night, Connon Nurseries, 656 Robson Rd., Waterdown

Fundraiser for the Waterdown Youth Centre runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The evening includes festival foods, games, catered snacks, a bonfire and more. Tickets are $40 for adults, $20 for youth under 18. For more info or to purchase tickets visit the event webpage.

West Flamboro Presbyterian Church 192nd anniversary, 262 Middletown Rd.

Christie Learning Series runs Nov. 1 to 3. Guest speaker is Dr. Thomas Jay Oord. Saturday night celebration dinner, Sunday service followed by lunch in Fellowship Hall. For details, visit wfpconline.com/events.

Hamilton Potters Guild Fall sale and Empty Bowls, Dundas Lions Memorial Community Centre, 10 Market St.

Jonathan Harper is our Featured Artist. Proceeds from Empty Bowls go to Hamilton Food Share The sale runs 1 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Free entry, free parking.

Loaves and Wishes Bazaar - St. James United Church, 306 Parkside Dr., Waterdown

Sale runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Featuring dozens of vendors with holiday items, handcrafted jewelry, books, etc. Lunch available, provided by The Wandering Gourmet. Cabbage rolls, shepherd’s pie, tarts, pies, cookies and squares and more!

Wine and Cheese tasting, Freelton Strabane United Church, 1565 Brock Rd.

An Italian Evening starts at 7 p.m. in Heritage Hall. Tickets are $40 per person. To reserve a spot call 905 869-7936. 

Live Music, Waterdown Legion, 79 Hamilton St. N.

Featuring Mat Gauthier, from 8 p.m. to midnight. $5 cover charge.
