FlamboroughToday received the following letter about the need for a new traffic light.

Dear Powers-to-be in Hamilton,

I just finished the letter making inquiries about the usefulness of a red light at Waterdown Road and Moutain Brow.

I agree with the writer and would like to add that a traffic light is desperately needed at Parkside Drive and Boulding Avenue.

The increase in the surrounding housing boom in the last couple of years and the village bypass on Dundas Street has increased the traffic flow to this intersection to the point that this major intersection is beyond busy. The morning and evening work commutes are nearly impossible to navigate.

It is a safety hazard and requests for the city of Hamilton to address this growing concern has fallen on deaf ears and the concerns have been unceremoniously shuffled from one office to another and apparently buried and never to be heard of again.

Hamilton, it’s time to do the right thing for Waterdown….. ADDRESS THIS ISSUE NOW!!!
